End of Semester

It's the end of the semester at my absolutely fabulous "ivy league" university where I'm working on an Ed.D. degree, but not the end at the not so fabulous but actually pretty darn good public community college where I work. Still a few weeks to go. So, I'm totally stressed out, really out of it and completely exhausted.

Down to about six credits, and then the dissertation. That could be alot of fun. I think. It will be at least another two years.

What will it be on? Well, 3D modeling and digital non-linear editing system are distruptive technologies to filmmaking. Is it filmmaking anymore? That's the question. And how do computers screw up the acculturation and learning of new filmmakers in an industry that really operates on an apprenticeship basis? Another vital question.
